Greetings to you all
It is time again for our annual meeting and we hope you plan on attending.
Point of interest: Lois Parris, MOTA President has been appointed to serve as President of the Manufactured
Home Owners Association of America, a National version of MOTA
On the legislative front: There has not been any new legislation this year but we continue to look into ways to
assist with funding for the "State of New Hampshire Board of Manufactured Housing".
This board is extremely important to all of us living in our communites. Other states across the nation would love
to have what we have here in New Hampshire; a board that we can turn to and have some of our issues heard.
The board is limited to what they can rule on but the very existance of this board gives us as homeowners and
tenants, much protection.
In the near future, we will be looking into seeing how we can acquire funding for this board so that we may never
need to worry about loosing our funding again, which of course means the Board of Manufactured Housing would
cease to exist. On October 2, 2009 this issue was discussed and avenues were looked at and a Study
Committee might be the first step in that direction. We will keep you all informed as we move along.
ON THE NATIONAL FRONT: The Manufactured Home Owners Association of America had its annual conference
meeting this year in Utah this past October and informational sessions were held as ways of communicating
means and methods to exchange how other states successfully gained legislation or were in the process of doing
so. Let's all wish them good luck.
